A Ritual Art Experience
A multi-part, hands-on creative journey where participants blend spiritual reflection with ancient clay techniques. Guests design a personal “Higher Self” mandala and bring it to life using vibrant, multi-colored clay through meticulous mosaic and inlay work. The series culminates in a professional firing process, turning raw intuition into a permanent, polished heirloom.
• Polychrome Clay Mastery: Guests don’t just paint on top of a surface; they build patterns into the clay itself. They will use mosaic (arranging small, colorful pieces) and inlay (pressing contrasting clay into carved grooves) to create a flush, seamless design.
• Structured Transformation: Because clay requires drying, firing, and cooling, the multi-session format builds anticipation. It transforms the final pickup into a celebratory “unveiling” event.
• Soulful Intentionality: This is not a casual craft night. Every color chosen, line carved, and tile placed serves as a physical anchor for the guest’s spiritual growth and inner wisdom.
- Session 1: Vision & Canvas: Guests learn the spiritual meaning of the mandala layers. They mix their custom clay colors and roll out their base plates.
- Session 2: The Inlay & Mosaic: The core creation phase. Guests carve patterns, inlay contrasting colored clay, and piece together their intricate mosaic layers.
- The Interim (Behind the Scenes): You carefully dry, bisque-fire, glaze (if applicable), and vitrify the pieces in the kiln.
- Session 3: The Reveal & Activation: Guests gather to receive their fired masterpieces. The series concludes with a group reflection or a brief meditation to “activate” the finished mandalas.
